Born into the chaos and clamor of a New Jersey Italian-American household, it was impossible for Luke Masella not to be enthralled by storytelling and drama at such a young age. Known for his use of geometric and calculated choreography and blocking, he has written and directed a number of award winning short films,  music videos, and branded content that tackle the themes of relationships, family, and communication.

 

Luke's professional background includes creative collaboration alongside WGA award winning writer Sameer Gardezi, "The Blair Witch Project" director Eduardo Sanchez, and "The Purge" creator James DeMonaco. He has had three feature screenplays optioned and began his journey in commercial directing alongside The Russell Brothers; working for companies such as Netflix, Oxygen, GSK, and many more.  

 

Thriving in the fast paced environment of film sets, Luke molds his style to fit the demands of each project to ensure that the emotion and feeling behind the piece winds up on screen.
